
Sales Associate
On Site, Full-time Position

The Person We Seek
AgTerra is seeking a skilled and proactive Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by cultivating relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored product or service solutions. The ideal candidate will sales experience with customer relations expertise to build upon the company’s sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and industry events.
- Maintain an active pipeline in the CRM system and follow up on inbound inquiries.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Product Demonstrations & Presentations
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations—both virtually and in person—that articulate value propositions.
- Customize presentations and proposals to address specific client pain points.
- Sales Process Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and closing.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts in alignment with company pricing and policies.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to align on messaging, promotions, and delivery timelines.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Generate and analyze sales reports, forecasting revenue and identifying trends.
- Customer Support & Follow-Up
- Ensure seamless handoff to Customer Success or Support teams post-sale.
- Conduct regular check-ins to maintain satisfaction and uncover upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of proven sales or client-facing experience, preferably in B2B or technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with CRM systems.

- Full-time, salaried position with a base plus commission structure.
- Office-based with regular travel to client sites and industry events as needed.
- Occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate client schedules.
